Did you ever regret it when you had to register your dd for P1? (Assuming your have a dd)

Hmm... fortunately not really. If I have all girls, I probably would have chosen SCGS over her current school, but fact is, I have a DS too, don't want to go through another round of P1 registration headache when his turn comes. We are staying within 1km of SCGS, and if we had wanted it, we could actually get in during P2B for DD.

Maybe you can ask me again 6 years later... 😂

Why 6 years later leh....?[/quote]Becos of PSLE mah... SCGS has an affiliated secondary school that is easier to meet the COP as compared to NYGH, that is if the current COP hasn't changed by that time.

Yeah, and prefects at Crescent wear tie... 😄

Lol I went to Cedar n my sister went to Crescent!
Cedar skirt is more A-line, while Crescent skirt is pleated n more flare. I remember my sister worked really hard to be chosen as a prefect in sec 3 cos she wanted to wear a tie, just like me :).... We once thought of exchanging tie for a one day, but no guts to act it out cos both our schools had super fierce discipline mistresses :yikes:

Crescent girls do wear ties leh....(once a week)

          ya.....super stern-looking discipline master,
always on stand-by mode to take down the names of those who were not following closely the school rules.....

I saw an old class photo of my 80-year old aunt. The NYGH uniform didn't look any different.

I don't think the uniform's changed through the years.

As far as I can tell from the old, grainy, B/W photo....no changes at all. 😄

I have moved our posts on NYPS uniform to the NYPS parent networking thread. Let’s continue there since it’s OT here.

Are uniforms with tuck out blouses, all have full dress inside or outside like rgs, scgs, nanyang?

                      Fairfield too?
Saw scgs has skirt to go with PE t shirt. How about the others?
