I have 6 bedrooms in my house now, so am quite comfortable with the number of rooms I have...


But I wish I had a bigger kitchen. I currently have a dry and wet kitchen but I'm really running out of space for my \"kitchen toys\".

Hmm...let's see... 1 for DH, 1 for me, 1 for DD1, 1 for DD2, 1 study room for adults, 1 study room for children, 1 guest room & 1 entertainment room. That makes 8!!! :imcool:

1 room for home office/part library
1 room for music/part library

1 room for artistic practices / visual art work

With kitchens getting smaller and smaller in new developments, my plan now is to convert the so-call maid's room near the kitchen into a pantry in my future house (if they even materialise)
It will be something like Nigella Lawson's. Stainless steel racks with rows of ingredients for baking, tinned food, etc and cooking equipment like some of my Le Creuset dutch oven, baking tray, KtchenAid mixer.....
And lastly if space allows, maybe squeeze in a small freezer.
Heaven!!!!!!

I do agree with you both!! I have never felt any stirrings about walk-in wardrobe and when I designed my new place, I put in boring wall to wall cabinets. A walk-in larder on the other hand.... oooooooooh... my heart goes pit-a-pat!!

Why didn't I think of it?!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrr....
