      Don't know whether have we discussed on the following guide books? Personally I find is good to have for reference & teaching materials at home 😉...

        I think my DD is going to 😢 when she goes P1. She dun like Chinese and forget the word almost immediately after I teach her :stupid:

          My daughter dislikes Chinese...that was one of the reasons why hubby didn't want her to be in same school as son...which is a SAP school.
          A letter from her school today informed parents that P2s will be offered Higher Chinese based on overall results as well as attitude. I would be more than relieved if her Chinese improves...forget about any Higher Chinese for her. I will suffer more than her 😢

                Publishers sure know how to earn our :moneyflies:

                Lucky this yr bookfest at Suntec or else I don't know how to carry the \"loot\" home.

                But I have to get the Higher Chinese version becos DD1 in SAP :faint:

                  I was at Popular \"killing time\" yesterday when I went over to the P1 Chinese guide books section to have a browse 😉
                  The sales person recognised me lioa :nailbite: and gave me a courtesy smile (pssss....must disguise myself the next trip to Popular lioa.. 😆)

                    1) 这是你的书 or 这是您的书
                    2) 谢谢您 or 谢谢你...

                    are the above taught in P1? TIA

                      From what I remembered from my teacher


                      你 is for normal use

                      while 您 is more polite form of address

                        so either one can also be used rite ... but i think by Singapore standard, ' 你 ' is more widely used... 😉
