      Vevey:
I usually just toss whatever I hv on hand w the \"standards\" -- blanched broccoli, cubed apples soaked awhile in salt water to prevent discolouring, raisins, boiled chunky potatos & salad dressings diluted w fresh milk (a tip i gotten from a recipe book to cut down on the calories).

During recent CNY, I tossed in some reheated bak kwa pieces as well & the salad was v well-received. ๐Ÿ˜„ Other days, I tossed in some toasted bread cubes to make it more filling.
      Toasted bak kwa sounds good!

Green salads include leaf lettuce and leafy vegetables with a sauce or dressing. Other salads are based on pasta, noodles, or gelatin. Most salads are traditionally served cold, although some, such as south German potato salad, are served warm. I like caesar salad recipe.

With mid autumn festival just over, many of us will have lots of pomelos lying around. Heres a pomelo salad you can try.

1 Pomelo - peel and break into small segments
                  1/2 Cucumber - sliced thinly
2-3 Small red onions - thinly sliced

Dressing: fish sauce, honey, lemon juice, peanuts(fried and then pounded), red chilling( chopped)
(plus use agakration for amount, and according to your taste)

                  Mix and enjoy!!

The salads there are very ex! about $15 per bowl. Is it that good? My friends rave
about their salads. Haha was wondering if I should try but the price kind of
                      put me off.
