Homebound this December...any ideas to share on what to do to keep kids occupied? If got coupons or group buys promotions please share here too!
Thanks in advance. :thankyou: -
A couple of years ago, my kids went to this baking cum art & craft workshop at Genius r Us, and totally loved it. It was a few consecutive days (full days) and everyday they would come home with the food they’ve made (from pizza to ice cream) and whole bunch of handicraft.
For hols, I think Paris is a lovely place for both adults (shopping, museum, food, etc) and kids (Euro Disney, the catacombes, and yes do bring them to see the Mona Lisa). -
I am planning to take kids ,aged 8 and 6 somewhere for 7-10days during the xmas period. but dunno where to go.
Can anyone suggest where the kids can have fun, there will be many sightseeings, and nice shopping to do…
in my mind, I had Dubai, NZ ,Japan ( but i am worried as I dont like jap food ) ,london…any other suggestions ? -
Santa Claus Village in Rovaniemi in Lapland, Finland. Not much shopping, though.

Harbin is nice for X’mas. U will get to see the Ice and Snow Festival. My DS enjoyed the ice slide. Also get to play with lots of snow.
Lots of sightseeing too if u take the trip from Dalian to Changchun to Jilin to Harbin. There is a tiger park n aquarium where there are lots of sea animals etc.
Also got to experience having steamboat in an igloo.
I went with ASA last year n for x’mas, there is a grand party n fireworks on Christmas eve. -
anything to see in Guangzhou, Canton ?
