cant wait for the day!!! 111111!!!

Yes me too. Less than 2 more months! Woo hoo.

R3mom:
also, would like to check if the weightage for final results for P3 is 30% from SA1 & 70% from SA2?
Yes that's the respective weightages.
Why don't you email her teacher to ask her about Area and Perimeter? The exams have been pushed forward this year, and what with the election holidays, many teachers are behind schedule. -
Just to let you mummies be aware that the school has planned a nice children's day programme for the girls so tell your dds they can look forward to some good fun on that day. The Parents Volunteers group are working hard to make this day really special for the girls. The girls in IJ are so blest
.
So don't get so hung up over the exams. Cheer up all. -
Kaylasmum:
HI Kaylasmum,Hi Janet
Thanks for taking the trouble. Ya agree it doesn't look like it's honeymoon period at all. Dd's kindie only scratches the surface so lots of prep work has to come from me. With a bz work schedule, really don't know how I m gonna do it next yr.
No worries.
Do look forward to the orientation and the first 2 weeks of school...it will be fun for the girls to get to know each other. It's really interesting since it's an all girls school. :rahrah: -

janet_lee88:
Thanks Janet_lee88 and beanstalk. I decided to stick with official public holiday. I need to set a good example for my DD
I am thinking of taking a holiday right after my daughter finishes her SA2 exam next year...avoiding peak period. Since it's already year end, should be no prob I guess? -
ch0c0l4te:
Actually it doesn't seem like a big deal to skip 1-2 days of school but once you do so, the child's mindset is such that it is allowed. I regretted allowing my son to \"pong tang\" last year but really had no choice as syllabus was too much even though I started early.

My dd says there is a English Show and Tell assessment coming. Do you know the topic? :thankyou:
