      Blur Dad:
For RI Supplementary Intake. I guess all the KS parent and students will apply regardless got CO/WL/Rejected or not. As long as I do not have CO from RI, I am a boy, take PSLE this year and PSLE result qualify for Express Stream, I will try. Who know what will happen. It does not state the criteria in RI admin web site that students must have xxx PSLE T-Score before you would apply.

I think there will be thousands of students and parent flock to RI after PSLE result release day. Then RI will be counting moneyโ€ฆ.Ho Hoi Sum(very happy in Cantonese) counting $$$$$$$. :moneyflies: :moneyflies: :moneyflies:
      common sense prevails

not any t-score would / should go to appeal lah. be realistic

don't waste time and paper and money and hope if the t-score is not near the cop (as a guide). don't expect the cop to suddenly drop to 240 or even 250.....and say wah paing, should have appealed ......

in any year, the top 10% of the cohort is 250 and above, based on anecdote evidence, that is at least 4000+ kids in the whole wide singapore

      and the top 3% is 260 or 265 ?

      RI / HCI / RGS / NYGH combined takes in only 450 x 4 = 1800
NUSH & NJC takes in another max 400 combined, that gives you 2200 places

then add DHS, ACSI, RV, plus a few new & to-be IP schools......

that is where the majority of the top 10% gone to

and $20 or $60 per person is not even a drop in the ocean for the operating budget of an IP school

                      MandyMummy:

With so many enlightened parents, RI will be flooded with a lot of early appeal cases this year, since every unsuccessful DSA application can appeal. RI has more than 1000 DSA applications, they are going to be busy

Pls note that RI charges $20 for each application under Supplementary Intake, and if not taken GAT during DSA phase, will have to pay also $60 for the GAT process. So hor, if really so many kiasu parents go for this SI phase, $$$ next year, RI do not need to ask for donations for their Teachers' Day event liao  ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜†

For those who did not take GAT during DSA are only the GEPpers who > 80% right? You mean DSA time no need to take GAT and now need to ?Else who else ?
