I understand that Victoria is a full boys sch. Is it mixed at A or IP? I supposed Tanjong Katong belongs to a different league. A relative is at Dunman High. I understand that their Chinese culture is very strong.

I am keen to find out more about Victoria vs Dunman High too. Hope someone knowledgeable can shed some light.

Dunman High’s chinese culture is stronger. Victoria academically is not bad too. Their boys are usually all rounders. However, Dunman high is still better in terms of results, it is also harder to get into Dunman High.

                Hi Phtthp,

                Thank you for your effort.

There are Dunman High and Dunman Secondary school.

Dunman High is a six years IP school and the COP for last year is 258 if I remember correctly.

I was from VS and my son just completed his O last year and from VS too. Regretted sending my son to VS. Too many Chinese scholars in his class. Some subject teachers are not too caring towards those who are no good in their subjects. One subject teacher even said "how much time do I have to explain to all of you?". Unless your son already very good in his studies, then I think it is fine to go, but if your son is near the bottom COP then think twice.
