Childcare increase price again

Oh no… This branded childcare my son is attending is going to in increase fee last yr 80 n this yr again…


Thought k2 will be spared… N worst, k1 n u2 increase by 120… Oh my god.

6more months before my son move to p1! Is the government going to increase the grant again?

I think is all CC gonna increase the fees. As I am looking for a CC for my girl next year N2, I went to MCYS website to look at their prices, but when I call those CC, all CC tell me next year they gonna increase the price, some increase $50, some even up to $100. :slapshead:

Dunno izzit a trend, one increase, all increase... :grphug:


I did ask the reason for the increase, and they mention that coz everything also increase, including their rental, esp those hot spot area, like near mrt, even a CC at hdb branch office, hdb also increase their rental.. so they put the cost to us... :stupid:

Gov grant, :roll: I guess unless alot of parents write in to MCYS to complain den only will work ba... :rotflmao:

Not just cc, kindergarten also increase, some increase to almost 30%, e young is my income never increased 30%

I’m lucky then that my DD’s childcare fees remained status quo since she joined at 2.5yrs, it’s been 3 years now. The centre’s increased fees over the years apply to newly joined kids only, who are paying $100 more than mine.

increase grant also no use, the CC will increase the fees! its inter-linked!

Actually I hope the grants keep pace with the eventual increase in CC fees… Govt should help the parents more if they want fertility rates to rebound.


Currently, my son’s CC is a new set-up and we are lucky to lock in a 20% discount for 12 full months, which certainly makes it easier on our pockets. No idea how fees will look like in a year’s time given the inflation in Singapore - rents, food etc.
