I was looking at q21 and how do u find the LCM of 2,3,4,5,6 and 7 to be 420? Is there a quicker way? Tks

7 * 5 * 4 * 3 = 420
The 6 and 2 is redundant, since any number which is a multiple of 4 is automatically a multiple of 2; any number which is a multiple of 4 and 3 is automatically a multiple of 6.
Primary schools will probably only teach the listing way to find LCM.

49a^2 = n^2
n = +7a or -7a

I read the details saying all finalists will attend .... does that mean all the 500+ who got into round2 or only the Gold/Silver awards? DS went for round 2, but till now no news....so thought I better find out

No. Different. Mine is DD. No news from the school either. The prize giving should be 15 oct but still no news? Maybe I will check with the school later. I also thought all 500+ are attending too.

Same here....no news from school.
From the info given by Mathlypmics, the ACS website will display the results online on 17Oct.

Just check w the school. They are not going this sat. School will give them the cert during school assembly.
