Hi mommies of kids in BTPS,
I wonder if anyone can enlighten me on which are the days that kids have CCAs? And if Pri 1 kids have to take any? Just wanna see if I need to reschedule any of my gal's enrichment classes.
And also if you know of any good and reliable BAFSC around the school? Been thinking of going back to work...
Hi Jeanieg,
I have secured a place at The Kidz Club for BAFSC at Kilat Centre. I was told by the school that there's quite a number of BTPS kids go there. They also have transport to pick the kids up from the school to the centre at a fee. For kids who has CCA, they will still pick them up but with a fee top up. Hope this help! -
Dear mummies..
I registered my child at Kranji Pri Sch under P2C Supp coz we were balloted out from the school of our choice.
Dont really like KPS but *Sigh* no choice
Anyone can help advise how is BTPS? We were considering putting her on wait list at this school. Pls help ya.
Thanks in advance. -
Hi,bigmama.
My child is in P1 this year. I fibd the school not bad. IMO, school distance from home is important eso. for lower primary.
If the distance is too far, have to wake up really early.
cheers. -

We understand that the school produces quite a number of GEP students each year and their PSLE results have been above national average.
How about their teachers? Their CCAs etc?
Thank you. -

Hi Bigmama,
BTPS was our first choice, but I had some misgivings a few months ago and considered transferring DS1. But now, i can say that both DH and I are satisfied with the school and we will also be sending ds2 to BTPS. Their maths, english and science standards are good with activities that allow students to show their strengths; the MT is on the weak side, but this also means that it’s something that we can do on our own at our own pace.
The school has a rather nurturing environment and the children are generally happy and lively. The few issues I had, I was able to bring up with the school and things were handled well. DS was recently bullied on the school bus but it was resolved quickly with help from an older boy who took him to the VP (a very calm man). During the school events, the general atmosphere was one of fun, tolerant of childishness and creativity, and the children has a certain amount of autonomy. Most of all, I feel the school tolerates mistakes as part of learning. E.g events are not pitch-perfect, but clearly are genuinely done by the students who were enthusiastic about it. It’s not a place where the adults completely take over so that the students will have perfect "products" to show visitors.
If you have a child who is creative and have a strong personality, it is an especially good fit. -
Hi Deminc…
Thank u for your precious. Very comfortable learning ground for the kids. I will drop by to register my child under wait list. Hope my child can get e chance & her 2 siblings can follow in the near future. -
