Which centre is best for teaching P1 math?
-
hi SP Mummy,
you may bring your child down for diagnostic test(s) see if he likes Mighty Maths. you can choose 45 mins or 1.5 hrs duration, depending on how long your child can focus in Maths:-

My DD (K2) has been with My Think Tank for nearly 4mths and I'm pleased with their teaching so far. Her teacher is very patient and committed. What I like is their concept and foundation teaching, which prep her well for P1. Also, their classes is conducted in small group size (5 to 7) so can be more focus.sagent:
I'm wondering why no one mentioned My Think Tank. My colleague was very happy with the centre in Bt Timah but i wanted to hear others' feedback b4 i decide. Any one has any comments abt My Think Tank?
My Think Tank is good
My Think Tank also conduct enrichment classes at some schools, i.e. NYPS, SCGS, PLMGS & etc.

The primary benefit of Math Olympiad enrichment is to expose students to non routine (meaning not commonly encountered in the school syllabus) maths questions, and to hone their problem solving skills.
Nowadays, some teachers might set some exam questions based on old math olympiad questions, especially the \"killer questions\" on exam papers.
Maths olympiad is by definition enrichment, so even if (most) schools \"teach\", they might teach only to select few. In the past its used to be for the students in maths club only.
Or hire external vendors to teach.
Hope this helps :). -
