Wow, PSLE already started and your sch still running supp class? Isn't there very tiring for the kids? The kids have just finished one subject, should go home and have lunch, rest and recharge a little before proceeding with revision for Maths.I thot today my ds could come bk early but ha can't . His teachers want his class to stay till 5pm for supplementary( today and Monday ) heard that last yr p6 \"A\" class teachers not so on leh!!! why this yr so extreme :?

Yes heard from DS2 the same. Well that's a good start. Got to move on for Maths now. Told DS \"doing well is good but knowing that you have put in your BEST is the most important. May God be with you throughout your PSLE exams.\" -

I agree, this year's paper 2 is managable especially for the spelling&editing section. As long you tried your best, even if your score is still bad, it's okay !!!!!!!

DD also needs to stay back for Science next Monday after the CL exam. The supplementary class will end at 3pm as such think is still ok since there is some rest during weekend plus that will be the last paper.I thot today my ds could come bk early but ha can't . Education should not be about teacher's KPIs based on academic excellence of the students - this is ridiculous! Isn't the well-being and health of the kids much more important than that? When you have a \"sick\" kid (physically or mentally) at hand, you will not even think about academic excellence anymore - it is just a useless paper chase! More impt to have a healthy kid!

Personally, I don't see the point in doing so. Some of the kids may be so stressed already, so should just let them relax. The hardworking ones would know what to do. I know of one tuition centre in the east that is organising a last minute maths supplementary class today 4.30 - 6.30pm. Honestly, this is the sad state of education here....maybe the teachers are worried about the KPIs the principal has set for them. So must make doubly sure all ground is covered. -

If I were you I won't send him for the supp classes. The Sch n teachers just want to raise their kpi at the expense of our kids. -

okay, what plot did you write?
I wrote about the shopowner keeps tadpoles, and they grown up into frogs thus people , esecially women and children were frantically running out.
i squeezed myself into the crowd to have a better view of it but was pushed by a impish boy into the shop and frogs came onto me . however nobody came to help but after a few moments, a foriegn couple came to help when they saw me.
I thanked them and lend a helping hand more often every and then.
