that is why the transformed score (t-score) is just a measure of ranking the kids; it is NOT a summation nor an average of the actual marks scored in the PSLE exams

this year's 299 may not have total marks as high as last year's 282

every year's papers may have variation in standard. no valid comparison from year to year. the only valid comparison is within the year / cohort

Met my DS during the break after paper 1, told me the Math paper 1 is quite easy.

Hopefully paper 2 is also easy for him too.
Is he among the top in maths for his school ?

My DS school's GEP PSG provide snack for the P6 GEP students during the break. Not sure about the main stream students. I really appreciate it. Thank you

Yes that's what is needed. Tough paper to raise high t score. Tough papers pls bring it on

Tough paper is good for those top students. Hope the CL paper is not that tough.

Those with COs, tough or easy also nevermind, but my DS no CO.... 😢 Only depend on PSLE T-Score now...

Must say my DS' teachers fr sch and enrichment centres have all been very supportive. They bought the kids snacks and stationaries, some even gave popular vouchers. When kid was unwell, they called to enquire. Sent encouragement SMS. Glad the teachers are so considerate.
