Anyone knows how to get rid of the lizard, can give some tips.

So far, I've tried - cut limes and star anise. It helps to lessen but not totally.

I'm also looking forward to any tips.

I usually place the star anise in a "soup bag" and place it near the window. As for lime, I place it on the kitchen cabinet or any place the lizard(s) frequents.

You’re staying on the top floor?

How about ants? Any tips to prevent ants invasion?

Any advice? Besides ant trap, any natural source to prevent ants?

                  Hi Sleepy,

Ants doesn't like star anise too. Maybe you can try it? I'd usually wipe my kitchen cabinet with \"mama lemon\" by end of the day. The sink need to be dry too. See if it helps.

I think I've ants due to milk powder that my DS drinks. As for the garbage, we try to clear before sleeping.

Does anyone have any recommendation for organic vegetable wash? I used to buy from Tuberware, but haven’t been able to reach the person that I usually buy from.

a time tested method, that may have been mentioned earlier (i havent looked all the posts yet)
baking soda and white vinegar. The 'only' household cleaners I need for the entire flat. Finest has a value pack of Arm and Hammer baking soda, about $4+ and sheng siong sells 5 litres of white vinegar for $3.40. If prudently used, can last for few months.

Vinegar smell dissipates fast. I usually add essential oils to the diluted vinegar and recently have taken to infuse orange and lemon peels in the vinegar.

cornstarch effective glass cleaners- removes prints effectively

this site has other useful tips about baking soda and vinegar.

My DIY air freshener is to drop some orange/ lemongrass or bergamot essential oil on cinnamon sticks. Look good and smells divine. Dried orange/ lemon peels can also be added as a citrusy potpurri.
