Any of your kids teachers or tutors spot Science questions? Can share which are the topics and type of questions are a \"die die\" must revise one? Too many to cover, not sure where to start off and which part to revise more. TIA.

Hard to spot. Just go thru past papers your child did esp those got wrong. Just to share what atutor has so kindly shared - u can go to PSLE science thread (dont know which page):
basically

Section A - 1 qn 2 marks, can't afford to get more than 2 wrongs. Read the stem of the qn CAREFULLY - look out for words like 'possibly' 'definitely', 'all', etc. Look out for labels for diagrams. Look at all options b4 deciding on the answer - cld be tricky.

Section B - read qn carefully. Circle certain key words in the qn which are clues. Identify which concept qn is testing - then come up with the relevant key words. Make sure answer is complete.

Hope it helps.....sometimes wish I could sit in with my son to remind him the above!

Oh yes, do your kids find the paper difficult, easy or moderate?

I personally find it easy.. I am a P6 student. Many of my classmates all :rahrah: cuz the paper 2 was easy.

the answer is 24 days everyone in my class got that. the person started reading on saturday so:
15x4=60
30x3=90
90+60=150 - 1 week
525/150=3 r 75
75 - 30+30+15
3x7=21
21+3=24
so the ans is 24

EL PSLE compo topic came out in my tuition centre before!!!:):)

okay, what plot did you write?
I wrote about the shopowner keeps tadpoles, and they grown up into frogs thus people , esecially women and children were frantically running out.
i squeezed myself into the crowd to have a better view of it but was pushed by a impish boy into the shop and frogs came onto me . however nobody came to help but after a few moments, a foriegn couple came to help when they saw me.
I thanked them and lend a helping hand more often every and then.
How's it?

I wrote that cos it was CNY, then shopping mall wanted to have real live tiger as a gimmick to attract more shoppers, but because the person talking care of the cage neglected the cage, tiger escaped from it. Then after that the shop I was in was supposed to be a gigantic gift shop, so tiger crashed into shop, then everyone was running out of shop. Then when I took a closer look, tiger rushed out, then ran around the mall in a round, then after that it clawed my brother, then I call for civil defense, then they shoot the tiger with tranquilizer dart, then tiger lost consciousness, brother was saved. Then i said we must be vigilant at all times, Tiger year or not.
