Funx3:
Lessons are also as usual for P3-P5 at DD's sch. PSLE Exam area was prohibited so the P6 can focus.
My Gal's sch P3 to P5 is on normal sch hr ....Otah:
BTW, are the P1 - P5 all having school holiday during PSLE period ? I know of some getting their students attend afternoon sessions. But how about those school having double session? Sry OTP.
Tough paper means there will be very high T-scorer (the real super kids, mmm...may be 290+) this yr.
And they have to take their PSLE Exam in their P6 Classroom.

Snow Crystal:
Thats comforting to know. I checked with my DS. He said that the invigilators remind them to check the index number and the Q no in case of Compo in a loud and clear voice. So no worries.prancingpony:
My friend's daughter is worried more about her not writing down the right index number than the english paper itself, which incidentally, she found to be easy too. What happens if a child writes the wrong index?
The papers are batched up so don't worry. They should be able to figure out. Also, worst case scenario, if result come out not to her expectation since she found it easy, just pay some nominal fee to have the paper checked and find out cause of the below expectation mark. Please ask your friend to allay DD's fears cos young kids may think too much and let such things affect their exam mood for subsequent papers.
Btw KSPs, for the upcoming Chinese/mother tongue compo papers, please remind your kids to remember to put down the number of the compo question selected :xedfingers: -

My DS's school also. So just have to see if anyone has any news.
My DS school does not allow HPs as a rule, but DS always uses the pay phone during the recess to inform me of any changes in the sup classes. Don't all schools have pay phones.rylee:

Handphone was not allow to bring during PSLE for my DS school. So no update. -

hashroop:
Hi hashroop, i read through all the posts on the Math exam today, and can't resist dropping you a note...Ms tay:
Ds said that both paper 1 and 2 were easy like hell maybe he could score full mark but most of his classmates said paper 1 was difficult

Sorry huh but wat do you feed your DS that he says both papers are easy?
He has super brains!
Fyi, I'm probably one of those parents who is crying my lungs out because my very very dear son didn't come out of exam hall smiling!
In every exam, there are bound to be students who find the papers difficult and some (or maybe one?) who find the papers 'easy like hell'. For those who find the Math paper difficult, don't despair. Sometimes, the results is not as bad as you think. Tell you child to forget about the Math paper, as
it is already over. Instead, encourage your child to focus on the
upcoming Science & Chinese papers for next week. I am very sure your child will do well, with your encouragement & support..
For those who find the Math papers easy, don't be too big-headed (ops, twatao, I don't mean you.. ). Continue to work hard for the Science & Chinese papers and give your best in the final lap of PSLE next week!
That was what I told my DS, who is one of the lucky ones who find the Math papers relatively easy, as compared to his school prelims exam, but definitely not to the extent of 'easy like hell' lah (he does not have a super brain lah)!
Jia-you.. Jia-you!!! :rahrah: :rahrah: :rahrah: -

And Jeremy's set has question 44 missing .
The schools exchange exam papers amongst themselves. After prelims, they started giving the kids the 2011 prelim papers from other schools. In fact, DS school discourage the parents from buying additional prelim papers from external vendor. -
OrangeJuice:
They do remind, or in this case did the invigilator forget to remind?
Why cant the invigilators remind the kids to write number of the chosen question when they asked the kids to fill in their name and index number ???
