What will be the A* mark for Math?? Very afraid I can't get A* for Math because I minus at least 5 marks already!!!

Just stop thinking about the math paper lah.
It's been almost 3 days already.
Still got 2 or 3 more papers coming in less than 12 hours.

      All the best tomorrow.
Sleep well and tomorrow will be a better day.

Lots of kids especially boys will not feel stress about exams and results. not at P6 age.

We should just let them be themselves and just push them when necessary.
No point adding extra stress on them as it's not going to help.

I know what you mean, my DS is just like that. He's still having his rest and play time with his sis, read newspaper leisurely, have tea and meal breaks, go find snacks........so relax that his dad can't quite \"tahan\". I think I've adopted the attitude that if he is relaxed during this PSLE, his score should reflect his \"true\" capability (not \"push\" beyond). Basing on this score to decide his sec sch should be less worrisome than \"pushing\" him beyond his capabilities for PSLE and then he cannot cope with the sec sch he got into later.

That sounds like my son too. My son's favourite is super long toilet breaks - where I suspect he takes a book to read - then hides it under his shirt as he comes out - šŸ˜† .

I also agree with you - its better for him to seek his true capability - then he can continue to learn well in Sec School. I know my son is interested in learning - he has a positiive attitude - he is just not caught up in this performance in exam hype yet.

Good luck to everyone on the remaining subjects.

Ms Tay - good luck for your son to get into RI.

RI is not the only top school....

It might be the top school in terms of A-level results (in Singapore)...
but you must know that there are other top schools such as ACS(I) which is one of the top schools in the world for its IB results(it does not have A-level which is why it is kinda forgotten)...it almost has 50% of the perfect scorers around the world...

There are many good schools in SG - one of the good points of our education system. Even neighbourhood schools are providing good education.

Many of us have been reading about Ms Tay's ds journey on the dsa path. He is obviously a bright boy who has a dream - and so some of us find ourseleves 'rooting' for our 'ksp friends' and their children's dream. šŸ˜„

Hence the good wishes - for him as well as all the other children on this forum. (and beyond) - for them to fulfill their dreams at this point or if they do not, for them to learn enough and to persevere to succeed at some stage.
