Hi Lenny
Yes ,I will check with him if he calls me . Thks -
Hi, met my sister in law (teacher of one of the primary school) lat night and she mentioned to us the Science paper was tough as some of the children in the good class cannot complete the paper and in tear.
-
That was what my dd and my niece said too. Science was the toughest our of all the papers.
-
Hi Brenda,
Yes, I heard the same thing too.
However I do know, some ex teachers who are tutors actually spotted many questions in section b, which students find the questions are hardest.
Cheers,

Science paper compared to 2010 was tough and this may vary from student to student.letโs hear from others as well.My son managed to complete all the questions within stipulated time, however he was mentioning that few questions were tricky.

actually come to think of it, depletion of water makes more sense now coz I was thinking the soil part is sealed, true - evaporation of water from the soil will condense on the inner side of the sealed cup and flow back to the soil but there is another outlet - from the stomata of the leaves thru respiration. Furthermore, the CO2 is also given out by the leaves through respiration - plants respire all the time rite? Hence, the plant uses its own co2 to photosynthesis. But too bad for my son, he chose 'co2' as the answer. :slapshead:
Ms Tay posted the reason given by the HOD here yesterday. Need to check thru the various posts.Intermezzo:
hi ngbrdad, i'm interested to know the reasoning given by the HOD.
did he/she give any?
thanks ~
But nevermind, at least other than science paper which he says very tricky, the others seem ok. Now, I'm bringing him to macdonald's for breakfast as he has no HMT. Think he deserves a good break. -
DS slept at 12 midnight yesterday.
He is going for outing with his friends today.
First time going out on his own.
Letโs see whether he comes back on time or not in the evening. -

Perhaps is too early to jugde whether the paper is tough or easy as we only gather this feeling by hearing from you, me or others in this forum.
Just my 2 cents thought -

Great idea !!!nats:
anyone thought of how best our dd/ds could make full use of the extremely long holiday?
Maybe, engage in sports?
not so costly and healthier
