hi, care to share what are the useful apps you use for streaming/watching movies/dramas... as well as storing your child's notes? Do u convert docs to pdf so it can be read, or is there something more effective??

If you have iPad2, just take the picture is most easy and fast way to keep notes, esp if you just wanna read it on a short trip.

Thanks for the tip! I have the iPad2 and it is so under-utilised now, except for DS watching movies, youtube, and playing with some of the free apps which was replicated frm my iPhone! :oops: :oops:

im looking for answer when i post here.. haaaa.. tt's why i said amazing ipad, we were like discovered something new in ipad.. anyway, i asked my fren to asked her experts frens for answer.. hope to have some answer la.. if u r travelling soon, u can try it out urself. my fren said hers is using prepaid sim card type. not wireless

Let me guess.. are you using 3GS or earlier model?

I just tested on my 3GS. Turn off data and 3G. And yes, it does cache a small area of the last visited map.

If yours can't, maybe it is older iOS version..? Try updating to iOS4 and try..?

In summary.. if iPad can there is no reason why iPhone cannot..

It is not surprising if the device can cache a small area of the Map for offline use. What is surprising is differences in behaviour between iPhone and iPad.. provided both have the same iOS version..

For spreadsheet its has very little features. I regret buying it .

Other things i havent used so cant comment.

Btw I use it on Ipad.
