Generally it's the CCA that \"chooses\" you, despite what you put as 1st , 2nd, 3rd choice preference, even in NJC where they have the CAFE CCA rounds where they can try out 3 ccas in year 1. AT the end of year 1, they put in their preference for year 2 for core and subsidiary ccas. My boy had already auditioned and was part of a \"subsidiary\" cca in year 1, while at the same time participating in Cafe ccas. At end of year 1, none of the ccas he put in his preference form selected him. LOL. In the end, he applied and got approval for his \"subsidiary\" cca to be his \"core\".
But they have such a small group of students !

actually come to think of it, depletion of water makes more sense now coz I was thinking the soil part is sealed, true - evaporation of water from the soil will condense on the inner side of the sealed cup and flow back to the soil but there is another outlet - from the stomata of the leaves thru respiration. Furthermore, the CO2 is also given out by the leaves through respiration - plants respire all the time rite? Hence, the plant uses its own co2 to photosynthesis. But, on another point, there is only >1% of the air that is filled with carbon dioxide compared to the amount of water. So, obviously the amount of carbon dioxide will decrease due to the fact that the rate of respiration in plant during photosynthesis is less the rate of respiration of plant in the absence of light. Thus, we can conclude that carbon dioxide will run out first. Besides, carbon dioxide is more important in the process of photosynthesis than water. However, this is only my two cent opinion, it might not mean much though..... :celebrate: -

DS hardly asks for toys or games (except his DS Pokemon series) as rewards. DS likes to read and collect books, and once he starts reading one book must collect whole series! :moneyflies:

Should be able to keep him occupied for a while.
Ya, DS has Pokemon Black.. Maybe get him the Pokemon White as a reward (less space-consuming than books )!
I've stop my kids from buying books as far as possible.
Simply no space to keep at home already.

Nowadays the second-hand bookstores also do not want our books. I am trying to win my kids over to reading e-books but so far, they still like the feel and touch of ‘real’ storybooks. My ds also will not let me touch his storybooks, I wanted to pass down to his younger cousins but he says he may want to re-read his books…sigh.

My firend's DS was in the ruby school's team, train 4 -5 days a week, including Sat. For those who take 2 CCAs, only need to stay in school for 2 days. On top of that, need to miss lessons becuase of

same same...during psle time..I didn't borrow books for him but he dig out his old story book to read instead..and got warning from his father
