With the introduction of the Integrated Programme (IP) in Victoria School (VS) and Cedar Girls’ Secondary School (CGSS) from 2012 onwards, the two schools will offer both IP and ‘O’ Level Programme. P6 pupils can opt into the specific programme in these schools e.g. VS(IP) or VS(‘O’ level programme), CGSS(IP) or CGSS(‘O’ level programme) by indicating the specific school option code . Each of these programmes will also have their specific Cut-Off-Points.
School Name Option Code
Victoria School (IP) 9151
Victoria School (‘O’ Level Programme) 3014
Cedar Girls’ Sec School (IP) 9152
Cedar Girls’ Sec School (‘O’ Level Programme) 3004
I got the above info from MOE web site.
First I'm not sure what is the COP for VS(IP) and VS(O). Lets say my DS has got tscore on the borderline of VS(IP). In that case if I want to keep both IP and O level option of VS should I put 9151 as my first choice and 3014 as second choice? Or is it enough to put 9151 as first choice and if the tscore meets the COP of VS(O) will automatically be alloted to VS(O) :? For more clarification whom should I contact VS or MOE ? -

For information, Anglo-Chinese School (Independent), which is currently offering both IP and ‘O’ Level Programme, does not offer pupils the option to select the programmes as the admission to the programmes is decided by the school.
Also found this info on the MOE website. So if we put ACSI as a choice then if the Tscore meets their IP COP then will get into ACSI(IP) else if tscore less then IP COP but good enough for O level then will get into ACSI (O level/Express). Is my understanding correct? -

SunBrazen,
Thanks for your response to my query on another thread. But what I wanted to check was - are any of the other subjects (ie other than MT) conducted in Mandarin - because I understand SAP schools have the permission to do so.
Also - how much do you use the Macbook - for delivery of lessons, homework etc.
Would greatly appreciate your response and thanks in advance. -

UGs are very strong in MSHS like NCC, NPCC, Scouts and st. Johns. The symphonic band, table tennis and badminton teams are quite good too. -

They never publish what's the exact COP for IB and what's for express right ?For information, Anglo-Chinese School (Independent), which is currently offering both IP and ‘O’ Level Programme, does not offer pupils the option to select the programmes as the admission to the programmes is decided by the school.

Every year for ACSI the COP is just speculation.
