              Hi, anyone can help.

              Question 15) 608 Children took park in a skipping competition. Altogether 110 glod awards were presented to 1/5 of the boys and 1/7 of the girls. How many boys took part in the competion?
              Q15) My DD solution:

              Equation 1: 5b+7g=608
              Equation 2: 1b+1g=110 ---->x 7
              7b+7g=770
              2b= 162
              1b=81
              5b=405[/quote]Hi,
              my dd got the same answer too which is 405. The answer given is 110. Thus, is the answer 405 correct?

                Notfreemum, my answer key shows 405. It is correct answer, you can do a back check.
