I like S.E.N.S.. I watched this Japanese TV drama by Takeshi Kaneshiro many years ago.. the music was from there... it was great and I bought the CD immediately πŸ™‚

ksi:
Largely, I like classical piano pieces from Bach and Mozart.

For modern one, I would like to recommend S.E.N.S (formed by 2 Japanese musicians)

Beautiful music they make. Not all purely piano pieces but largely the melody can be played on the piano.

This is one example called \"Wish\"

(piano version)

(full arrangement)

This one is mainly piano with violin in the background \"Like a Wind\"

Another beautiful one with more than piano arrangement \"Heart\"

The anime reminds me of a song - Eyes on Me. It is from a pretty old role playing PS game - Final Fantasy VIII. Even as I listen to the song now, I can still feel an unexplainable emotion tugging at my heart. Those images in FF8 just keep appearing, simply beautiful beyond words ... so beautiful yet sad at times.

this must be one of the best threads i unearthed on this forum.. πŸ™‚

From the way you said it, you must be a piano lover like me. πŸ˜„

thanks markfch ~ i like music generally.. but for piano can at least try to play some of the easier pieces, so feels like more involved and more fun kekeke.. πŸ™‚

Thanks KKKS. I'm still stuck with Michael Nyman's The Heart Asks Pleasure First.

Can't seem to be able to stop hitting the replay button. πŸ™‚
haha! same thing with me when i just got to hear this piece ~ :rotflmao:

until now, it still sends non-stop tingles down my spine every time..
must be one of the most exhilarating or anguished piano pieces i ever heard.. depending on mood hehehe..

Truly beautiful pieces.. especially L'Amour Reve..
and the art pieces by Stefan Caltia which are shown with the music are magical too.. they go so well together..

any idea where i can get these scores? thanks ~

I accidentally ran into this CD by Andrea Gagnon - Comme au premier jour about 10 years ago. Immediately attracted by the music and the way he played it - simptly pure!! So emotional but reserved! Anyway, the feeling is personal...

yep i share the same feeling.. πŸ™‚
can't stop hitting replay button for L'Amour Reve now keke..

I always wondered if it's possible to play \"Flight of the Bubble-Bee\" on piano.

Today I found out that it's possible. Amazing speed. Wonder if the hands will cramp after playing.

Happy Mama, please don't tell me that you can play this song too. Otherwise I've to chop off my head and let you use as a leg rest. πŸ˜“
omg makes me feel giddy just watching her fingers fly ~
i think i can play this at 1/50th the speed.. counted or not? :rotflmao:
