one TCM told us that sweaty palm/sole is due to drinking too much cold drinks.

Getting toe socks also helps, in this way the sweat from the toes do not get mixed together. That and some powder helped my nephew with his smelly feet problem.

You can try to apply Driclor to the palms every night before going to bed. It is a roll-on to prevent excessive perspiration. It can bought at major pharmacies. See the link for a picture of the packaging.

Thank you everyone! I have bought anti-deodorant (not sure if these are good for kids to apply) for my sonny but reckon it only helps to reduce smell, not sure if it works in the long run. A GP I consulted discourage kids to undergo ops for removing glands, he only prescribed some cream for my sonny for his palms that, at times get itchy with rashes once his hands get too sweaty. Now that my sonny is getting conscious of his sweaty hands n feet, I hope I can help save him from any embarrassment. It could be my fault…yes, I craved for Coke, carbonated drinks I dislike before pregnancy…

My daughter, 15 y.o., just began to have some problems with sweaty palms and soles. She is also the first person to feel fingers and toes freezing when we go to very cold places. She is also more sensitive to pain and empathetic to others feeling pain. Wonder if it is all related?

Wow, Insider. The lengths a mum would go to. My daughter has no noticeable smelly foot problem, probably because her sport is swimming! I’ll look up this post again when I need the above measures. I told her I didn’t think her sweaty palms were too bad. After that, she said she thought less about it, and her palms actually got drier.

She is ard 167cm and 53kg, but has a fair amount of muscles due to her sport. Probably average in body shape.

My son’s sweaty palms and sole now cause eczema…blisters and pus appear suddenly without our notice. We went to kk skin clinic but the medicine given was to treat fungus, as adviced by a skin specialist in Bishan. It hurts to see him in pain with blisters on hand and soles. Any advice?

I have sweaty palms too
not very serious though. Guess its quite common. When I pick up a pen and start writing for like about an hour, after that my entire hand will be sticky and wet (sweaty).

Having blisters and pus is quite serious for sweaty palms. Maybe you can teach your son not to keep \"chionging\" for any work that he does with a pen. Ask him to do slowly. Once he starts getting sweaty palms halfway doing his work, ask him to stop and rest his hands for a while (wash his hands maybe?) before he continues.
For the soles of his feet maybe don't allow him to do too vigorous exercise such as running or sprinting.
But of course, the best thing to do is still see a doctor to seek advice.
