Yes, the one you referred to is correct. Kids can take Sambucol which is the original brand or Nature's way Sambucus for kids. Sambucus contains Elderberry, Echinacea & Propolis whereas Sambucol is mainly Elderberry. My kids didn't like the taste of Sambucol so I switch back to Sambucus.Hi beanbear,
What exactly the name of the sambucol you bought from i-herb, is it this \"Sambucol, Black Elderberry Immune System Support Liquid, For Kids, Berry Flavored, 4 fl oz (120 ml)\" http://www.iherb.com/Sambucol-Black-Elderberry-Immune-System-Support-Liquid-For-Kids-Berry-Flavored-4-fl-oz-120-ml/16697?at=0.
Appreciate for your advice. Thank you.
During exam period, my kids will take Sambucus every day for 2 weeks and they are usually free from any illness. -

I'm afriad bad concentration and focus cannot be solved through popping pills. Either go for cognitive training or try to work out some strategies for your child to concentrate. Better save the money on pills and invest in cognitive training, they're not cheap.Hi

No harm just trying the DHA supplements first if pockets are not deep enough for cognitive training.
My kid takes Ocean Health kids DHA chewables. Very yummy compared to other brands. We tried a few brands and this is the most palatable for fussy kids.
DHA supplements support the brain functions and eyesight. It is not proven in being able to change behaviour per se, but DHA is said to boost a person’s ability to handle stress and depression. (Some psychiatrists recommend their depressive patients to take DHA / Omega 3).
My ds is not so grumpy since I started him on the supplements. He doesn’t really have a bad concentration problem in my opinion as he does well in school. Just note that most kids have short attention spans so it’s quite normal. We gotta manage our own expectations of them. I can’t expect him to read a book quietly for 2 hours non-stop nor ask him to sit at home to do assessment books. I have to cut the work into bite-sized chunks.
What’s your definition of bad concentration and focus? If she’s walking around when other classmates are seated, then it’s time to get diagnosed for ADHD. If she’s only unwilling to do work that you have set, then it’s perfectly normal. You may need to work on rewards or fair deals. Depends on her age group as well. -
definitely not expecting miracle with the supplements.. it's like when we took too much sweet stuff, kids tends to be more 'active'..
Thanks for recommendation.. will check it out
