Hi thanks for that, yeah i know ,best I sit and plan.Anyway, which is the best airport to land at, if we are going to SI?

if you fly directly from Singapore, the only landing point in South Island is Christchurch

I f you fly from OZ, say melbourne or sydney, you may be able to land in Queenstown directly

The only direct flight from Singapore is to Christchurch in SI. What is more impt to you, direct flight or flying into QT? I prefer direct flights esp if I travel with kids. If you prefer to minimize driving, one option is to take a one way internal flight to QT fm Chch and drive back from QT to ChCh. We are driving round trip, down via West and back on the eastern side.

If there are clear English descriptions on the content of the food, then maybe it is fine.
It is best not to bring any food stuff into NZ and Australia.

Dont worry much; when I was in Europe for 2 wks for hols, I didnt eat any rice at all and survived.
Well, this is a good chance to test your stomach. We adults are easily adaptable. Also, instant noodles/porridge is never healthy.
                        Enjoy your hols!
