Did you receive a letter about e learning today? What is that about? My ds lost that letter. :slapshead:

I did not get to see this letter yet. Guess the e-learning is for next week 4 days of PSLE marking days.

We checked lead.com last week while preparing for oral, there was a list of at least 39 assignments put up.

Not that I know of. Need to install some software if I remember correctly.

The P3s also received it. There'll be E-learning from 17th to 20th next week. The students are supposed to access the lead.com.sg portal for online lessons and assignments. Some classes might be assigned work from problemsums.com. There is a reply slip at the bottom of the memo to indicate whether students have computer access at home. Kids with no access to Internet will use school PCs on 17th and 18th Oct.

Do they need to finish all the assignments? I want to use these few days to do the revise for my ds. need to 临时抱佛脚

I checked this morning. There're only 14 for us. As in your case, this is bad timing as ds will be travelling during the short break. I think using iPad to type is akin to using a toothbrush to wash the toilet. Ok, a bit of exaggeration but I'm sure you get my point.

Btw, my son is really looking forward to Nov cos he'll have his BFF joining him in student care. :evil:

Aiyo...I just had my hainanese chicken rice (dinner) yesterday! Can also make other local food like prawn noodles, cai tow kueh, salted eggs, fried kueh tiao, wanton noodle here too. Hehehe... You super ex ex chicken rice bo-siow here. :rotflmao:

Whoa, I was trying to entice you with local delicacies; didn't know you're able to make them yourself. What about 油条 with 鸡肉粥, 香港点心? If you also can make those, then you can open restaurant oredi.

I know what u mean that's y i use a stylus I use my ipad everyday.. so sometimes, when we r waiting for food, waiting for dh etc, I just whip it out for kids to do flash cards or homework. My rational is to keep them engaged so they won't whine and ask 'Y is it taking so long??' :evil: the faster they finish their work, the more playtime we get

I didn't expect e-learning to drag into 9 Nov. Next week understandable but Nov 9 as well ? There will be no school on 7 Nov (Mon), 9 Nov (Wed) and 11 Nov. So the last day of school will be on 18 Nov.
Can pontang 8th and 10th ? :evil:
