Thanks for sharing. The quality looks ok.

Hi, just to share that now DD is on no. 4 book of this 天龙八部 comics (Total 21 books) .

The story and the words are much more complicating than the 笑傲江湖 that she had read.

I am glad that she said the books are interesting and she has not problem to carry on.

The only problem is the font of the word is about half of the CL newspaper font size, as such can only limit her to one day one book in order not to affect her eye sight.

        The comic book looks interesting.
I also remembered that some picture books from China had really small characters but very nice drawings. Also asked my ds to avoid reading too much of these at one go. 😄

          Dear Mummies

Is there a kit or special Chinese dictionary that can recognise Chinese strokes to teach us how to pronounce a particular character other than Xinhuazidian?

          Please help.

          Thank you.

Are you looking for the BESTA electronic dictionary? You can write using stylus provided and the dictionary will pronounce the character for you. Only available in certain models.
Maybe you would like to visit Popular bookstore to check these out? 😄

U you can use nciku.com online for free.

Or download free apps to use on iPhone or iPod - I use KT-DICT and Pleco apps interchangeably on my iPod to check what the words are. But you must activate the \"handwriting enabled\" option in languages first, ok? DOwnloading the app itself creates no magic. HAHA.

Thank you so much, now I am spoilt with choices.

Mandymummy, is the Besta really good? What is the price range of it compared to buying an iPad? Or, anyone can suggest, please?

I personally preferred the iPod bc it's handy in size and can be used for many other purposes other than as a dictionary. If you have an iPhone, then you can just use the iPhone. I have Android phone and haven't found a similar apps to those available on iTunes.

                        Phankao,
Can you advise how to enable this handwriting function? I can't figure out. Thanks.
