Hi everyone, it's the start of a brand new week again!


yeah, having a 4th kid is a great joy... :rahrah: but it's also a challenge for me... eg. financially more expenses, and with the new baby, mum and maid can't cope (as mum getting old and health weakening) so DH and I think it's best that I be a SAHM and just watch and cut down our expenses for the good of our kids, BUt elders are concern about money so we don't hv their full support.

while we too are concern about financials, we want to provide the support to our kids as their education, care and concern are our top priority now as previous long working hours have affected our kids negatively... but the elders' concerns , which is not unfounded, and their practices which sometimes might not work on new age kids/all kids, are also affecting us, giving us indirect pressure... still trying to sort all that out.. sigh...

I mean, we totally appreciate their help and concern,but it's all about balancing and prioritising for us now... still trying to work a best way out.

taking things one step at a time. first, safe delivery of the healthy baby, then when elders realize that my mum and maid can't cope with a newborn baby and 3 kids, maybe they will understand that I need to be SAHM . Then DH and I will hv to work out the finances... just stressul for DH , and I , as well since single income hee hee hee

I guess tatz also the reason y i hold bak abt having #4.. we really haf to wrk out finances well too..

But since #4 is areadi on the way liao.. guess u shld juz take one step at a time bah.. like ur elders.. mine elders tink the same too.. dun worry.. u will b able to make it through.. N yes.. smooth delivery n great health for bb n urself is most impt as of now.. no amt of $$$ can buy both of tat..

how old are your 3 kids now? Are they in sch full day? If they are in full day cc, then managing your 4th kid shouldn’t be that tough. If all are home, then probably is a challenge.

Being a SAHM is not easy. I always salute those mummies who are SAHM. Talk to your DH to work out the finances and I am sure you can work something out that will work best for your family.

I've got 3DS, coming to 6 yrs, 3 yrs & 1.

thanks for the support. my 3 kids are 6, 8,9y.o. They'll be at home at different times hence challenging. hahaha will try to manage when the time comes and when everyone incl. elders can see the ... ermm... actual full effect of attention etc. needed hence justify why we, DH and I, thought it's best I be a SAHM for a change since my eldest gal who will be in P4 next year needs quite a bit of attention since I've neglected them all these years due to , sadly, super long working hours.

and yeah Mintymin, as I had dift considerations/concerns related to having a forth kid, I've been holding off the idea as well till I am blessed with one. which is real nice/timely as DH was saying that the longer I put it on hold, the older I get I.e. \"gao Lin chan Fu\" hahaha
