Yes, I agreed!! :goodpost:
Oh yes, parents do worry whether their kids can keep up with the class nevertheless, if ur girl is selected I guess there will be someone who is academically stronger to guide her. Theres only vacancy for 80 so even if ur girl does not make it to E/F class it does not mean shes weaker than the rest.... i do see quite a few that are not in the top 2 classes producing just as good results or better.moonee:
Not too sure whether can she make it to the two class. As she just join the school this year, but I realised being a parent in that two class is kind of stress hor!
End of the day ,,,,its the PSLE results that matters most.
Agree. I use the e/f streaming as a guide to see how she is doing. It's not the end of the race. The psle is one of the impt milestones as it opens the door to their sec school. -
There are girls who werenβt from E & F who made it to RGS so itβs the girlsβ hard work that counts. Jia you!

Thank you so much, bliss-ful, for prompt reply.
Your daughter had done well! Indeed, she stands out from the rest.

Hi,
Please don't say that... She is just average. The girls in RGPS are really very bright!!!phtthp:

some of our P3 girls are now taking round 2 GEP tests.
curious β¦
is our GEP programme better than other schools (since pilot run in 1984, 27 years ago is a long time), or is it the same across the 9 GEP centres, standardized by MOE ? -
MummySTay:
thanks for sharing.... that would be around 260 for PSLE.... even for those who cannot squeeze in to RGS will be able to go to NYGH, St Nic or other very good IP schools....
Sorry can't help u with the P3 info - I dun have the info. For P4 to P5, COP was 347, not 247, for 4 subjects. 86.75% overall to enter P5 E n F classes.phtthp:
you mean 247 required for minimum COP to enter HA P5(E, F), not 347 ? It's very high!
how about for P3 entering P4(E, F) - also around 247 ?
so long they have tried their very best and we as parents have also given our very best supports, we should feel proud of our dds results..... and not to forget to give her a Very BIG Hug.... -

:hi5: Agree with your comment. We are not going to love our DDs any less regardless of how well they do. Furthermore, our DDs are very lucky as RGPS has a very good school culture with quite a number of responsible teachers who have the girls' interest at heart.
Even last year, which I would consider to be one of the worst years ever, RGPS produced 110 scholars with 3A* or more. Amazing, huh. -
wah! 110 scholars so many !

Yeah, still haven't added in those with 2 A*s. Our DDs really do us proud.
