the most obvious areas of lesser expenses are clothing, shoes, makeup, accessories, transport, food and extertainment.

also there are not that many wedding angpows, baby gifts, farewell gifts, cny angpows and xmas presents to spend on.

Can save more as a SAHM bcos there is no need to buy clothing, shoes and makeup. Save on lots of wedding and baby 'summons'. Other than all these savings, I do wish the GOVT recognizes the contributions we SAHMs make.

i am relating to those who really have little or no help from in-laws / parents / maid category. just a few day into \"this 伟大\" job..& I am super exhausted! & I did not cook somemore! just got a maid...hopefully can work out this time round..and then i will be back to work (i am lucky to have understanding bosses at work)

salute to all SAHM! not the tai tai type k those who have to wake up early in the morning, get the kids ready for school, tidy up house, prepare lunch and dinner and all the washing and coaching the kids's school work! + husbands dun do much to help except bringing back home the bacon!

After going through the 'tough' life, cannot take it on a daily basis liao......have cut cooking by 30% ie. only cook 4 weekdays. Now trying to find gadgets to see if can help further eg. Happy call pan that I reading in another thread, scooba etc
Kids - training & enlisting their help (sometimes) to fold clothes, wash their own dishes, sweep floor, pick up/keep their own stuff instead of leaving them around etc
Hubby - nag him until he prefer to help a little else I'll :gloomy: :frustrated: :rant: :nunchuk: Also refused to go out with him when he's bored, citing simple reasons like
- got chores haven't finished.
- very tired after slogging whole day
- refused to do anything else except plonk on bed and KSP :evil:

Sometimes, must see who have higher threshold on DIRTYNESS also. IF DH is the dirty type, then too bad.....many tactics cannot work liao

I had a roomba too...worked wonderfully for 1 year, then battery died completely :stompfeet: ...now back to my trusty Kaarcher again.

I use a roomba too! It’s quite effective. I recently had to repair it coz the motherboard got fried (I got mine from the US, then the transformer blew a fuse and fried my roomba). You can consider replacing your battery. I think the place where I repaired it may be able to help. They also sell roombas comparable to US prices, but I’m not in the market for another roomba yet. If you’re interested, I can PM you.

It's effective...just program it to vacuum as and when...now the battery simply died...what should I do ? Where can I get battery ? My roomba was bought from US too. Pls advise. Thanks.
