I have found that some items meant for the Jap market will have Japanese words on the packaging but not made in Japan, so need to read the Made from xxxx statement

OK... since I happen to have the pencil caps with me (haha, was thinking of posting the pic here but can't figure out how to attach it from iphone...). Yes, it was written \"日本製\". I old flower eye... didn't see initially.

i thought that items from isetan will be more ex, in this case it is cheaper than popular and the quality as what i see from the website is of better quality than popular. Japanese are usually very particular about their stationery, so I think should be ok quality. Maybe Popular has run out of this, but I have seen them selling this brand of pencil caps.

i think popular using membership card or the discount 20% coupon which used to be found in the popclub magazine to buy stationery in popular will be cheaper. Without these 2,it will not be cheap

I went to popular to look at the pencil caps. They have only 6 in 1 packet and cost $2+. i looked at all the pencil caps and all are 6 in 1 packet.I will try to see how is the pencil caps like for Daiso cos i dun really like the pencil caps in popular, lookes easily breakable to me -

she didn like the idea of "caps for pencils".most of the time she uses mechanical pencils. by the way I saw hello kitty caps at funan center 2nd floor stationary shop.
