      ilaks:

      Hi

      The first alphabet of the word is changed the previous alphabet (e.g B-->A, C-->B)
      But the rest of the alphabets in the word are changed to the next alphabets (e.g O-->P, W--->X)

      Here for COWS

      C -->B (as this is the first alphabet in the word)
      O -->P
      W -->X
      S -->T
      Hope you understand my explanation.
      Hehhe..thanks now i got it.
      See me not a GEP calibre type.

                  My DS1 is in P6 GEP and he has just finished his PSLE. He has COs (confirmed offer) from RI & HCI thru DSA, and will be accepting the offer from RI.

                  My DS2 is in P3 and he did not make it to Round 2 of GEP Test. DS2 is very different from his kor-kor, very playful and not focussed in his studies. Guess it's better for him this way, as it will require a great deal of maturity, independence & self-discipline to handle the rigorous demands of the GEP program, traits which I find still lacking in DS2.

                  Wishing your DS Best Of Luck and Great Success in his GEP Selection Test!

                  Congrats on ur DS1. πŸ™‚
                  I think each individual kid have their own traits.
                  Thanks for your wishes.
                  My DS is those type of carefree type not sure if he can make it or not as we never prepare him or send him to those sch for training.
                  He in fact consoled himself that at least he got a chance to try the GA paper to see what is it about.

                  Just to share, mine too. Although both DS got into 2nd round but elder DS more diligent & mature, P6 this year too, just finished PSLE, got CO from NUSHS, WL from HCI thr DSA too ... Younger DS character more carefree but he enjoyed yesterday session very much although he said quite tough for him...brought lots of snack to share with friends for today's session, hope he enjoy today too .... think its a good exposure for younger DS even if he cannot make it... anyway, we also didn't prepare him for it, just want him to try since he has the chance ....

                    My DS finished this 2-day brain drain exercise. He managed to finished both the papers yesterday, but left out 6 questions for today’s math paper. He said the math was really tough, and the questions became harder and harder. His comments on GA1 paper was "weird" questions, but was "interesting" on GA2 paper. Any way, congratulations to all the kids "survived" these 2 days. Good luck everyone!

                      My girl said today was much easier than yesterday. Most kids coming out after the exams seem pretty elated. I guess they did well too. Wish all the kids good luck. It is OVER at last.
