Finally bought bb's first pair of shoes.


She's having fun with them, exploring them. Bare feet since birth, it's quie an experience wearring shoes heehee

She must be happy My DS first shoes was the pediped Original, which is recommended for toddler that just learn walking.. i thk about time to upgrade to gripNGo/flex now.. hee..

She’s just curious about them, testing them out and exploring the shoes. She’s happiest when walking bare feet.

when u go out with her, u let her walk barefeet? on mall/fields? u still need to get her to wear shoes…to protect her lil tender feet…

when I go out, I have to look out for DD1 and DS, so for bb, she will be in the carrier. I don't want to buy the kid leash, so I just have to wait for bb to grow taller, before I let her walk in public.

At home, she can walk, run, climb, I don't restrict her. Sometimes I even \"put up\" obstacles for her to overcome :rotflmao:

In public playground, my DH let her play bare feet. :rotflmao:

I prefer to take them to indoor playground, easier for me to keep an eye on them

I bought her the shoes more for her to try out at home and will let her wear them out when she's used to them.

My DS didn't wear much of the infant shoes, straight away wear those \"beep beep\" sandals when he starts walking. He just wasn't interested in those softer sole shoes.


What's your little ones up to nowadays? Mine has been kaypo-ing around the house - help bring his jie jie's milk bottle to her when I prepared her milk, help to take tissue paper, throw rubbish, put his and jie jie's clothes in the laundry basket etc. Words wise he is just starting to be able to pronounce some 2 syllabus words/terms eg baby, see you. Still waiting for the urinal potty to start training. He has a potty seat which he now goes to sit on it immediately after he poo in his diaper. He knows that it is associated with pooing but can't get the order right. :faint: And he is still a slender 10.5kg at 17+mths.

DS is 11kg at 18 mth old… now 20 mth liao. haven weigh i thk maybe 12 kg…DS can recognise A,B,C,D (alphabet we do in shichida) able to say items start with "A", "B", "C" & "D" actually, u all can do that too, by making a alphabet books, in a page, put "Aa" and past the items begns with "A" etc… read to them often, and they will be able to read it out when u point to it… DS can take out shoes on his own, pull up pants on his own…

i started to play leap frog letter factory DVD to him once a week… he can say the sound of the letter for some…

I like your idea of the homemade alphabet book. Can engage DD to make it as an art and craft item. I have a ABC chart at home and he is only interested up to E.
