Hi, i m new to this thread and would like to find out more abt SMPS as my daughter is 5 this year and is gg to reg for P1 next yr. Are there alot of homework in SMPS and how do existing parents whose daughters are already studying in SMPS feel abt the school, ie cirriculum, schoolwork, cca, teachers etc… I am drawn to SMPS as its a christian based school and the after school day care that the school provides. Can any kind mummy/ daddy outside share about your experience with the school? thanks!

Both my girls are in SMPS, P5 & P3. Both are enjoying school
the teachers are passionate and patient. The school is very family oriented..
The school workload is ok.. usually for lower primary, not much homework.. only until P4 onwards, they are more but still manageable imo..
But i thot their academic 'standard' has increased, esp the Math, compared to some school, it's quite tough but good in preparation for PSLE..
Excellent choice of school to goto!! Good luck

Hi,
Thanks for your input. So far, many parents whose DD are in SMPS said the same things, dedicated teachers with right amt of homework and kids generally enjoy school ( which i think is v v impt).
Do you happen to know the cut off pt for St Margs (sec) for SMPS and non -affiliated school? -
hi, the info is found here : http://app.sis.moe.gov.sg/schinfo/SIS_SearchDtls.asp?strCode=7021&snm=ST.+MARGARET%C4S+SECONDARY+SCHOOL
