Chenonceau, the picture of potatoes with bacon is simply so yummilicious! Can almost smell it - my kids will probably go crazy! and the best part, sound quite easy to make.

This is the kind of dish I like to cook. Easy to make (no need to slog like mad in the kitchen or keep on watching the fire) and yet get alot of gratitude from the kids 😄

      thanks for sharing!

      Chenonceau:
      Roasted Garlic & Bacon Potatoes

      3 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
      200g back bacon
      9 medium sized Holland Potatoes
      2 bulbs of garlic

      Peel and dice potatoes.
      Peel and slice garlic thin.
      Chop bacon into bits.
Mix all inside the HappyCall with 3 tablespoons of Olive Oil
Cook on small-medium fire for 10 minutes.
Flip the pan... another 10 minutes.
Open the pan. Turn the cubes around.
Cook on one side 10 minutes.
Flip and cook on the other 10 minutes.
No need to salt. Bacon is salty.

Timings are indicative. I cook by feel. Ya gotta feel your pan. Be as one with the force of your pan. Kekekekekeke!

      Voilà!

This dish is easier in the oven 'cos no need to watch the fire... but less moist. It's one of my, I am busy today and your dinner is in the oven dishes.

My friend bought for me the happycall pan from Korea @$42, 55mm. My friend did not manage to find it from departmental store. Her Korean friend ordered online & delivered to home.

My cousin is going next month. Anyone can advise me the exact location or address? Where is Lotte Mart or Shinsegae Mart exactly.

I may need her buy another 75mm Orcher if possible ha ha, I feel 55mm bit small.

[quote=\"BigDevil\"]Just found http://list.gmarket.com.sg/g/404191232 selling th rubber seal.

Scroll down the page and you will see some pictures showing you how to tell a fake pan from an authentic one.

So you asked your wife to check all these points yet? Looking forward to your feedback.

Looks like my pan checks out. 😄

Mine has finally arrived after 1 MONTH!!! It has the sticker label but does not have the hologram sticker. Did your pan come with the hologram sticker?

Chenonceau, you should have done that and I sure will buy from you as $90 is already cheaper than the retail price from lejel - especially if you throw in free demo on how to cook steak and potato dishes 😄

Like buds, I prefer to buy things from a REAL person ... my friend say I very \"old school\" as she gets almost everything online now ...

 shall I order from Gmarket and sell the pans to you and buds at $90 each??

                You devil! 😆

I bought it from an ebay seller. There was some mix up in containers, resulting in the delay in shipment. I must say that the seller is quite friendly and responded to all my queries promptly. As such, despite the delay, I was quite assured that she would honour the deal.

I understand that there should be a hologram seal but I don't seem to find any on the cover. So juz wondering if it's necessary to have one to ensure authenticity. What about those who purchased directly from korea? Does it come with a hologram seal? Thanks.

The hologram seal is a silver star logo on the paper cover that seal the HCP.
