I can't see why they will not accept. In any case, it'll be another 6 yrs later for u....it will be very diff...like 6 yrs ago NUSH was an infant!!!Hi,
I'm P6, and I have a CO for NUSH. However, I'm quite worried because NUSH is new, and I don't think all universities accept their diploma, although famous ones do. Let's say, if I cannot go to prestigious universities due to personal issues, will lesser-known universities accept the diploma?

i think in time over the years, NUSH will get more & more popular, with girls …

it will improve but I believe not that much, just like in engineering faculty!!

OT a bit.
remind me of the old days in Engineering faculty, where got very few girls enrolled.
almost 365 days per year - girls who studied Engineering tend to wear jeans day in, day out. They dun bother to make up, unlike girls from Business admin, Law faculty & Arts faculty girls who doll themselves up attractively with lipstick, powder, eye shadow, wear nice, soft, feminine pretty dresses & skirts. -
hi Omega,
it says here (read 4th line):-
\"the NUS High diploma is recognized by NUS, NTU, SMU and top overseas universities in the Ivy League, Oxbridge, and others.\"
reference source, from NUS High school info :-

In those days (don't know about now), Engineering boys were also the least dressed up. Track tops, jeans, t-shirts.OT a bit.

last OT …
back then (not sure now), girls from Engineering & Science faculty dress very simply, often in T shirts & jeans. Also for convenience, because sometimes the girls from Engineering need to bend down, help carry electronic / electrical equipment around. So wearing jeans come in practical, not wear skirts.
looking at our heavy Science weekly schedule - so many hours were spent on laboratory work. We can spend the whole day inside the organic / inorganic / physical chemistry lab, set up bunsen burner, pippette, prepare hot water bath, studied molecular structure chemical formulae how to prepare pharmaceutical drugs in many steps, etc. We have no time for parties.
in contrast - girls from Law, Business Admin, Accountancy & Arts faculty - no lab work at all. So they can afford to spend hours in front of the mirror, doll themselves up prettily with makeup. Whenever there is a ‘hop & jam’ dance party event, it is common to see many girls from these faculties got excited because they received invitation from the guys, create opportunities for dating. -

Hi, any parents who hv kids already in NUSHS, can I check if NUSHS starts their Maths & Science from Sec 3 level instead of normal Sec 1 ? Correct me if I'm wrong, i think that's what I understand. Any reference guide that we can borrow from library to catch up as it will be a big jump from P6 Maths & Science to Sec 3 Maths & Science ? Dun want to waste the Dec holidays sitting around ....Hi,

Dont worry its not a jump to Sec 3 . They modules are a bit different from the Sec1/ sec 2 syllabus and perhaps a little more in depth.

If you want you could get the Sec books and do them, but it is not necessary. Usually the children can cope with the class pace. If the child is interested in a subject or two he can read ahead to further his interests -
