DSA 2011

Snow Crystal:
Hello All, thank you so much for your thoughts and advise! Will take the leap of faith and go with DS's wishes :xedfingers:
Yes exactly. Prior years you should see 280s and a lot of 270s for NYPS. A lot of average schools top scorer scores ard mid to high 260s last year. Like what you and others said, so long as Simply Kiasu DS is top 3% tt's what matters :imcool:verykiasu2010:
last year for NYPS, top score was 276 x 2, followed by 273 x 2, and 272 x 4, and 271 x 6; a mixture of mainstream and GEP -

Will do so when dd is back.
sista, Better Key in today.
U Won't Know, Computer sys can be down, PC can Go Kaput, Power can go black out, ....
I Always Find when I'm in a Hurry to Submit .... I Always Cannot Access the Internet!
And it's very irritating to look at that little thingy Goes ....
Round and Round And Round and .... :faint: :faint:
I 手忙脚乱 logged on the system & luckily, though raining heavy here, the internet was still working at a very powderful speed... In less than 5 mins, we completed the whole process... :imcool: -
why wait for so long.....please key in asap...
THANKS, vlim!
DH is out of town & he was still in two minds whether to wait for S1 posting (since dd results has always been above 27X for the past few exams) & apply for RGS OR heck it & confirm the offers with NYGH as first choice & DHS as second. I told dd of ur dragonfruit story & she remained firm on her stand - NYGH. Initally we were apprehensive if she was buay song with rgs for rejecting her in dsa...BUT time passed & dd preference for NYGH grew more & more as she researched further. So after a final round of MSN discussion with DH, we decided to support dd & seal her fate with NYGH. The final button was pressed & she is as happy as a lark now! :rotflmao: -

Thanks ngbrdad for your kind reminder.. I nearly forgot about all that! I have been busy revising with DS2 (SA2 this week) till I nearly went crazy and bald (yes, I really pulled my hair when I got mad!!!)...
Make sure you get the confirmation number and slip.firefly38:
We also have not made our submission yet as our computer has broken down since last week... Will bring DS to his aunt's (my sister) house tonight to submit.
Then print it out and save a soft copy.
Should be over in less than 5 minutes.
Our computer has been with us for ages (really lao-gu-dong)! DS1 always complains that it is sooo slow, but I always tell DS1 that he is too fast, not that the computer is too slow. But my dear computer must choose such a good time to take a break!!!
I posted twice at the RI thread to seek advice on what type of computers I should buy to cater to Sec Sch's needs (since DS will be the one who will be using the computer most of the time) but got no reply to date... Maybe I should have posted my question in this thread coz the parents here are much more helpful and willing to share... :grphug:
:offtopic: Heard that there is a scheme for Sec Sch pupils to purchase computers at special student prices.. Is it true? Does RI have this scheme
too? Does this scheme only apply to laptops only?
Appreciate your advice/opinion as I am totally clueless about computer stuffs... Thanks in advance! -

:offtopic: can heavy rain affect internet speed ? :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

My older kids don't have their own personal computers. Not necessary to have their own laptop. The only \"personal\" things they have are their handphones, and not smartphones either, just normal phones. If they need to bring a computer to school, it's either they borrow my laptop or they bring the one that they jointly share. -
