Hello RRMummy,

Ya I had those multi coloured paper booklet. It was given during the orientation early this year.
By the way for the 5 sentence picture composition, I wonder whether if the kids do not know how to write the Han(4)Zi(4), can they replace with Hanyupinyin ah?
Thanks for responding Sotong1209. 😄

Unfortunately, for whatever reason, it was not in my DDs Orientation bag.. so now I finally know how much I was in the dark for almost the whole year.. :gloomy:

All parents, what do you think of RLPS website? I think its not really updated and honestly, I do not like its design. Some other schools' websites provides up to date information... I think RLPS can improve on the website info and design.

Agree. Already feedback during PMT day. Still no improvement....

Agree.. lacking in few ways..

hmm...i seem to remember ttyh commenting about this 2 years ago. i think there was a change made this year or last? ....but i suppose there is always room for improvement...

ok...found it...
Hi, so the GEP selection was at P4? Can share your experience?
Thanks

If I recalled correctly, around 3rd or 4th term before year-end exam in p3, the kids will sit for this selection test on a saturday. The date will be known in some websites ie it is not a surprise test. This is the first round. If the kid passes, then he/she goes into the 2nd round.

In Rulang website, it has info on number of pupils selected for GEP.

Rulang website? Sad to say but Rulang has got the sloppiest website...
Outdated.... 😢
I wrote in to give my feedback to Mrs Lim and she replied 2 weeks ago that she'll review it. Well, I logged in today and yes, there are some small changes... the SA2 schedule is out there. 🙂 But i really hope there will be more improvements to the website.

SA2 started? After psle, my mind is simply blank!

Dd mentioned today that there would be kindergarten kids coming to the school and the prefects would help out.

Anybody knows what’s d percentage for SA 1 & SA2 to make up the overall? Is the streaming of classes based on SA2 results only or overall? And any experienced parents can share what is the usual percentage to get for kids to be selected into the top 3 classes?

40 : 60 ?
Which level?
The \"position\" in standard ie whole level matters; 1st 40 or so will go to the top class, 2nd group of 40 or so will be in 2nd best class etc.
You may want to find out your kid's position in standard privately from the form teacher after the results are available. This info is not available in the report book. By knowing this position, you can roughly tell which class he/she will be going next year.
Hope it helps.
