Yes, everything is expensive now…a basket of food like ham, eggs, ice cream for eg can cost a shocking amount compared to few years ago for same thing.

The poor will suffer, the middle class will be squeezed.

Supposing the hawkers at food centre or coffee shop do not increase price, the quality used will be of lower grade. The oil used to cook may be of inferior grade too. This is unhealthy especially for couples who eat out for 3 meals. How can people be healthy eating such food on daily basis ?

there have been a few cases recently of fathers taking on 2 jobs or working long hours/7 days a week to make ends meet and died of heart attacks/exhaustion...

Read somewhere an Indian Guru can survive without food for many years using meditation ... Think must start learning how to mediate before food prices become unaffordable πŸ™‚

:rotflmao: :rotflmao: Meditate? Must choose the country wisely hor... In India can yield long life without food... In S'pore, if dun die within 3 days, probably end up in the hospital and incurring much higher costs... πŸ˜†
