My boy found it easy. One girl didn't turn up coz she had just come down with dengue fever. Poor thing. Another has to skip the PSLE altogether -- had two fingers on his right hand (his writing hand) severed when a door slammed shut (his fingers were in the gap). Last my kid heard, he was undergoing an operation to stitch them back to his hand.

Oh dear, don't think can recover within short time. What will happen then for such thing? Will they considered his School results? Does his school normally set difficult papers?

          Joy

Credit goes to her sch eng teacher & of course writing teacher. All the grammar & vocab in PSLE, her sch teacher taught before and she can answer them.

In fact, the continuous writing theme, the writing teacher raised ideas before in tuition before but she didn’t attempt it in today’s compo.

Heard ministry will use his prelim results for secondary school posting. It's Ai Tong School so he took the set of exams used by all the huay-kuan schools. Pretty tough overall.

              Hi,

My daughter told me this year paper quite easy compare school prelim except the compre cloze. Hope all the PSLE children can do well this year.

              Cheers! 🙏

My daughter said the papers were much easier than her prelim papers. However, 2 of her classmates did not manage to finish their compos…I think time management is very important and the kids must be constantly reminded about it. while trying their best to write the best compos, they had totally forgotten about the time, this is definitely not to their advantage.

time management is extremely impt for Maths paper. I was told that many of the kids cannot finished the last Section (most marks) in the previous years. I have many \"dry\" run with my kid... when she do test papers at home, I will cut half an hour off the actual time required.

My students found the English papers easy. The topics for compre, cloze & compo were covered during tuition, so they had a better understanding of the passages and what to write for compo.

I think generally it’s the EXPOSURE to different topics that’s more important. Reading extensively from magazines, news articles, books, etc on different topics ranging from high-tech science magazines to nature to 15th - 17th century literature.

I hope they found Maths managable. Have yet to speak to them.
