Are you sure the colour of the name-tags stay with them, I thought the house colour stay with them, so ds1 in red house T-shirt this year will remain in red house all the way to P6? :? Should someone confirm which is correct!

so fast, now aready going to be school closed soon...how do your sons fare? I remember the days when bishan parents looking at the board chart praying for a vacancy in nearby catholic school..hhah...

We are satisfied with his results but unhappy with the mistakes he made. Very careless. We realise he doesn't like to check his answer. Do your son check his answer after completing the paper? He can complete an 1 hour paper in 20 minutes! He told me he just sat there until time was up.

Not sure. Just my guess. I don't think they expect us to change the name tag every year just to change the color right? This is unnecessary spending. Furthermore, next year P1 is not green. So there is no linking of color to the level. Hence, my conclusion.

My son is invited to attend the prize giving ceremony on 18 Nov. Does anyone know how they go about selecting the boys to attend? He definitely is not a recipient. Maths results - disastrous. He said no one in 1E is a prize winner so I am wondering are they inviting the bottom 5 in class to attend so as to spur them on.

Namie, you are very funny... 🙂

Perhaps he was a class monitor? Monitors are recognized at the ceremony for their contributions I think.

How you know the boy is invited or not? Got letter from teacher?

The colours of the name-tags and house colours stay with them throughout the 6 years. My P5 DS’s teacher just confirmed that there will be no PTC this year.

Yes, there is a letter. I know my son is not a prize winner cos he failed one of his Maths test in Term 2 and recent exam below 85.

Maybe he is a subject winner, aka did very well in CL or EL?

I tot the letter would say something rite? Or it is a generic pls turn u letter?

The prizes are for best in standard or best in class?

btw are MS boys ranked in the report cards? I remember my old convent did away with rankings to remove the stress.
