N1 (or PG) and N2 - like honeymoon years, so can study PM. Not much enrichment.

      - if study PM, mommies no need to rush so much early morning 7 am (less stressful). Kids can sleep longer, wake up after 9 am.

mommies also tend to have more time for themselves in the afternoon like go marketing, shopping, go spa, body massage, wash / perm / set hair, paint toe nails, run errands, yum cha eat dim sum afternoon tea time, etc. if study AM, 12 noon time comes swiftly everyday. So fast kids return home, need to find ways to keep them occupied at home, somehow.

but for K1 and K2 - can switch to AM session, bec got more enrichment. Usually can switch to AM - because at end of N2, P will reorg, tend to form more AM classes, cater to demand.

Hee..ya..I have already mentally listed the things I would do when my dd is in class. 😄

I think it is a brilliant idea to swop dd to AM in K1 and K2. This way, she can adapt to the primary school hours when they become single session in 2016.

One concern I have been having lately, since Newton is 60% CL and 40% EL, do we need to really supplement the EL on our part? I.e sign dd up for EL enrichment?

          hi porcupine12trade,

parents were given 4 FREE tickets to watch our children year end concert, last Saturday 29 October. We paid $20 (inclusive of 7% GST) for our child's dancing assessories, set up concert props, etc.

this year was our 55th Annual Graduation cum concert. Every child was assigned his / her part. This year, the theme for the concert was \"Children of the World\".

each child was given 4 free tickets. Additional tickets were issued (for grandparents Ah Gong, Ah Ma), based on availability.

venue of concert: inside Newton Life church Sanctuary (school premises)

Hi Chrisbear, yes we hv rec'd the letter last week. We can reach the school anytime from 9am-12noon this Sat. Basically it's a simple letter to inform us that we can purchase uniforms, and arrange with the bus operator on that day. We also get to meet their form teacher cos it stated the name of the class for our DD. We are also encouraged to bring the child along for this orientation.

Maybe you can call the school again to double check? 🙂
