      MummyJamie:
I'm Jamie, child of my mum's account XD

PSLE Maths was tough for me. I was able to answer all the questions, though. For the angles/geometry one, most of my classmates got 120, 135 or 150. I used guess & check at first, but then used ratio and got 120. Anyone used ratio & got that too?
mine daughter also use ratio and get 120

I remmember Q7. Curry puff shop sells puffs at $0.80.O50ffer:Buy 3 get 4th half price. If customer got $50, how many puffs can he buy if he buys as many as he can.

            Ans: $2.40 ($0.80x3) + ($0.40) = $2.80
            $50/$2.80=17R$2.40
            $2.40/$0.80 = 3
            17x3+3 = 54

            Ans:54 😎 😎

                Hi millan,
                1 'set' = 3x0.80+0.40 = $2.80
                50/2.80 = 17 R 2.40
                $2.40 = 240 cents
                240 cents/80 cents = 3
                17 x 4 + 3 = 71 as 1 set got 4 curry puffs (3 at $0.80 and 1 at $0.40).
With $50, he can buy as many as 71 curry puffs

Hei, Pupils, For the Q with the Curry puffs, the correct ans is 71. You should have 17x4, which is 68, plus 3 more curry puffs, which is 71.

For the Q17 which is geometry Q, ans. is 150 degrees.

For the Q with the cookies, all of you have got correct - 960, but my daughter has got wrong for that Q.

If somebody remembers some more Q-s, please, I will be happy to know ;D

                        N3SKiasu:
The Speed question (if my DD remembered correctly):

Mei and Lin take part in a cycling race.
Mei's speed is 20km/h. When Lin travelled half of the distance, Mei was 3.5km in front of her.
Mei reached finishing line at 10.45am.
What time did Lin reach the finishing line?

Similar feedback - paper was tough, finished all but not a lot of time left to check through. Anyway, its over now, just move on and focus on next few papers.
So take the total distance to be 2 units.
When Mei travels 1 unit + 3.5km, lim would have travelled 1 unit.
When Mei travels 2 units + 7km, lim would have travelled 2 units. (just finished the race).

So Mei needs to overshot by 7km.

                        Time = Distance/Speed = 7/20 hours = 7/20 x 60 = 21 minutes.

Lim needs to run 21 mins more.

                        10.45 + 16 mins = 11.06am
