这个帖子我已经潜水学习了一段时间，学到很多好东西，谢谢各位。
我的孩子和他的同学在Preference Stage都已经把NUSH放在了第一选择，可是我们住在Geylang，到NUSH的距离蛮远的，我们两家都没有人驾车。我想在论坛求助住在附近驾车的NUSH家长做做好事，是不是可以在每天早上让我们搭车前往NUSH，费用你说了算。

Hi, my daughter who scored 220-230 for PSLE would like to try to get into NUSH next year(2012) which she will be sec2 and apply for admission in year3. She has great interest in Math and Science is there any possiblities to get in?

for Sec 1 - what Science subjects can students study ?
if a child has strong interest in Science - can Sec 1 students embark straightaway to study -
pure biology, pure chemistry in depth, or only allowed to study General science (superficial content)? -
All Year Ones are required to take Bio,Chemical and Physics

Great, DS1 hopes to take triple science, he says better than taking humanities .... -
That is good news
i think this is where NUS High makes a clear distinct advantage, compared to most Secondary schools - where taking up double or triple pure Science subjects normally happen at Sec 3 /4 level. At Sec 1, most Secondary schools still learning General science. -

ask specificially - what criteria is needed, to enable transfer over ?

on the new yellow extended Circle line mrt - which is the nearest mrt station to NUS High ? if there is, will be great.
from Geylang / Aljunied, your child can transit at Paya Lebar mrt, hop onto Circle line mrt.
