yesterday was public holiday, so early morning visited my mil wet market for breakfast. The $1 chuey kweh was sold at Pipit road wet market (inside old Macpherson housing estate).

if is burnt, feedback to the seller - tell him to improve next time. If not, customers wont patronize him anymore, if keep burning. Then he’ll do something about it …

How abt being charged 30cents for a glass of warm water in the restaurant? Not that we did not order drinks for the adults, the warm water is basically for the child!

probably from the tap and throw in some ice cubes when they are 'generous' enough

                    insider:
                    anyone ate crabs recently?

went to No Signboard for dinner tonight.

quote $80 / kg for a M size Sri Lanka crab.

asked how come price almost like double?

was told coz now larger size crab more difficult to catch.

an M size crab is about 1.5 to 2 kg, so one crab is about $120 - $160 +++...
for those who fancy crabs, it is more value for money to eat at the crabs buffets.
where some hotels' cafes do offer special crabs buffets at certain period .....
( their crabs are not too small, of medium size and tastes great too)

Not only that, some Chinese restaurant even charge the kids at $1 per pax even when the kids din even touch the tea that was poured out as they brought their own water bottle... I argue with the captain n ask her to drop the tea charges for the kids...
