I'm also very confused. According to JY website, on 15-Nov there will be MTP for P1-P5 but the school did not give any notice to parents. So i assume there wont be any on 15-Nov. Am i right?

As far as I understand, year-end Parents'-Teachers meeting sessions are only for 'selected' pupils (presumably those pupils who may have certain 'areas of concern' that the teachers want to communicate to the parents). So if your kid did not receive any notification to attend the session, then it is likely that your kid is doing fine 😄

Honesty I dont like the way it is being communicate to parents currently with last minutes notices. Recv letter on 3 Nov rgd the 4th event and recv letter dtd 4 Nov on 10th rgds the 11th n 18th. Yet didnt mention about PTM on 15th. 🤷
Remember there was an option formerly for Parent, if they like to meet teacher instead of being 'selected'. It has to be a 2-way thing. I am be most glad to take leave n meet up just to know about the overall performance.

By the way...school bus increase by $15...up from $40 to $55... I have 2 kids its a huge $$$ some more during holidays still need to pay $$ and if have extra lesson/reminder need to pay $1.50 more. If my daughter have CCA, they don provide bus after 3.30pm.....

Check w SBS they had monthly bus fare & its only $22+ and no limit on no. of rides in a month & 4 free MRT rides in a month....thinking of letting my kids take SBS bus....
Agreed, I was also find this too much adjustment at one go.

As you say, we have to pay for holidays, another $1.50 for Thur extra lesson and no transport arrangement for CCA. So take SBS on Tues loh (CCA). With SBS, (a) DS has to walk 5 minutes under the sun plus cross a traffic light fm bus stop he alight to student care or (b) transfer another SBS bus service.

If yr kids is big enough and SBS bus is a direct service, you can start trying to let them take the bus in this coming week to have a better gauge. :xedfingers:

Congrats to your DS! I'm happy for the school too as I believed it has been a while since any P6 student has a T-score of above 260. Hope the school can continue to produce more students of such brilliant results 😄
