One of the important thing to look out for in a question are words like "based on the set-up and data collected". This means that we cannot apply our general knowledge on the topic to answer the question. Instead we must base our answer solely on the information given in the question.
Unfortunately, the information in the picture is ambiguous because there is not details on what the "9 units" and "12 units" in the picture represents. However, there is a clue given at the start of the question that "…wanted to find out if living thing gives out carbon dioxide". Therefore, I conclude that the 9 and 12 units represent the amount of carbon dioxide before and after the experiment.
State A cannot be deduced from the experimental results as there is no measurement/data/result collected on the amount of oxygen before and after the experiment.
State C also cannot be deduced because there was no additional experiment being carried out with different no of cockroaches. -
Ok. Thanks. atutor2001.

My daughter was presented with the following question?
Which of the following system(s) function(s) when a person exercises?
A: Circulatory system
B: Digestive system
Muscular system
Skeletal system
(1) C only
(2) A & C only
(3) A, C & D only
(4) All of the above
Does the digestive system stop functioning during exercise? -
Will 10ml of water in a test tube freeze when the test tube is placed in a beaker of ice into which some salt is added? See attached image for additional details.

How I wish my digestive system can stop functioning when I exercise. Then there will be no more food for the muscles to convert into energy and my system will be forced to burn down my fats to convert to energy. My daughter was presented with the following question?

Unfortunately, all digestive systems continue to function all the time, supplying food to different parts of the body. If the food is not used, some will be stored as fat (the problem that I am facing now). So I try to beat the system by going on diet and exercise at the same time, hoping that there is not enough food for conversion to energy and some of the fats will be burnt. Unfortunately, my body cannot burn the fat fast enough and half way through the exercise, I felt weak and giddy - not enough good \"i.e. sugar\". :slapshead: -

Sorry cannot see any image. However, it should be possible as I have done it before. Will 10ml of water in a test tube freeze when the test tube is placed in a beaker of ice into which some salt is added? See attached image for additional details.

Hi
can anyone help me with this P5 Science questions on the topics of Reproduction of Plants?
Can a flower still bear fruit after its stigma is cut off??
Most of the time no. However, it can still bear fruit if fertilisation has already taken place long before the stigma is cut.
Can a flower still bear fruit after its anther is cut off ?
Definitely yes if it has female reproductive parts. It can receive pollen grains from other flowers of the same species.
Thank You
