p/s: Where to find a list of Secondary schools with affilated JC ?

      Hi pixiedust,
You can check out which sec schs are affiliated to JC in the MOE website or in the \"Choosing your Secondary Schools\" green guide book. Can’t find any open house for CHIJ St Joseph’s Convent, Northland Sec, North View Sec, Ahmad ibrahim Sec and Orchid Park Sec. Anyone knows if they are having any? Appreciate any feedback on these schools too. TIA.

I missed the Zhonghua open house 'cos went on a holiday. Anyone went for the open house?

            I went 🕺
Mum and I were impressed by the art gallery, \"so BEAUTIFUL :imanangel: \"
There is a talk from the principal and one of the very powerful teachers(she was so passionate to talk!). We missed the principal's speech as we came late. The teacher mention there is 5 classes of Express, 1 for NT and 1 for NA. AEP could only allow 20 pupils only for each level if you are interested in it. they have a IMAC computer-room, and we ate a plate of indian something noodles with fishfillet and yu bing, cost us like only $1.50 .but the drinks there you all shouldnt buy often because a can costed us $1 which i thought was expensive. Other stalls did not open.
If i have missed out some topics or if you want to ask me anything, do inform me because i am in a hurry.
            Now....----> :siam:

                  Is the school conveniently located?
Does the school allow the students to choose their own subjects for Sec 3?
What is the school's main focus on?
                  Is HCL a must there?
Did you speak to any of the students there?
What is your impression of the school?
Hmm...not sure what else to ask...

1)The school is at Serangoon, for me, it's alsolutely convenient because i only need to take 8 minutes to walk there. (Don't follow the street directory's time-- they said need to take 15 minutes but i only took 8 minutes, so try to walk to your school before making the choice!~)
                    2) :torchme: I am sorry, i lost the part whereby saying the subjects. Or, because they did not mention. (pls check with the school xP )
3)The school focus on Art because AEP. Err.... for the subjects, i am not sure, :imsorry:
                    4) :imsorry:
5)Look at the previous post that i posted after the Open house. I was IMPRESSED BY THE ART GALLERY/MUSEUM there~
6)Add in---- There is a air-con. MPH with seat arraged like Crescent's...
The school should be just painted, quite new
The school is celebrating it's 100 anniversary.
The canteen food is rather cheap , i looked from the price of the indian food that mum and i ate.
The L1B5 was not 10.9 but more than that... But definately improved..
Anything that i missed out please tell me~~

If the student does not get the combination he / she wants, the other route is to appeal, again subject to availability and teachers' recommendation, etc.
